The Pewaukee School District Marketing and Communications Department manages district-wide communication efforts, including promoting events, news, and recognitions for all four schools. It produces two community publications, The Perspective, which reaches 15,000 homes, and manages the ParentSquare application for families, staff, and students. The department also manages social media accounts (@PewaukeeSD on Facebook and Instagram) and supports student-led initiatives like The Hook and Hook Jr. publications.
Additionally, the department handles video promotion, live-streamed events, and recognition videos on social media and YouTube. It oversees the district’s branding, including websites, logos, and building designs, and fosters community engagement by keeping Pewaukee residents informed through internal and external forms of communication.

PARENT SQUARE
ParentSquare is a unified communication platform accessible via app or website, designed to streamline all district and school messaging for Pewaukee School District families. It serves as a central hub for newsletters, emergency alerts, teacher and staff messages, and communication from club, activity, and athletic advisors or coaches. It doesn't matter which school or how many schools your student goes to within the district... you will find all of it here, in one place!ParentSquare brings all these updates together in one easy-to-manage location, making it simple for families to stay informed and connected. SOCIAL MEDIA
The Pewaukee School District maintains two official social media pages: find us on Facebook at @PewaukeeSchools and on Instagram at @PewaukeeSD. These platforms highlight the many celebrations and accomplishments happening across our four schools, showcasing the amazing things our students and staff are doing every day. Facebook is especially useful for browsing our photo galleries—perfect for sharing, printing, or framing your favorite moments! We also encourage safe, student-led social media pages that promote sports and activities at the high school level—most of which can be found on Instagram.
Finally, our YouTube channel offers livestreamed athletic events, board meetings, informative content, and fun videos throughout the year, including hype reels and end-of-year celebrations.

PERSPECTIVE PUBLICATION
Pewaukee Schools publishes a biannual community magazine called The Perspective, delivered to over 15,000 households throughout the Pewaukee area. Each edition is filled with stories told from the perspectives of staff, students, administrators, and community members—highlighting celebrations, achievements, and important district-wide initiatives. The Fall/Winter edition arrives in mailboxes each winter, followed by the Spring/Summer edition in the summer months.

DISTRICT NEWS
The “District News” section on our website serves as a central hub for press releases, district initiatives, and archived news. You can access it from our homepage, individual school pages, or further down on this page.
Here, you’ll find formal communications such as letters from administration, policy updates, new staff announcements, and more. While these updates may also be shared through other communication channels, this section is your go-to source for all official district news and announcements.

Miranda Kozlik is a proud Pewaukee Pirate alum, having attended Pewaukee Schools from kindergarten through graduation. In 2018, she returned to the district she grew up loving... this time as a staff member! Miranda feels deeply honored to shine a spotlight on the incredible work of the educators who once taught her, as well as celebrate the many accomplishments of students across campus.
As a one-person department, she thrives in the variety her role offers and enjoys collaborating with individuals throughout the Pewaukee community. Miranda holds a Bachelors degree in Graphic Communications with a minor in Marketing from Carroll University, where she graduated in 2018. Outside of work, you’ll find her spending time with friends and family, adventuring with her golden retriever, Goose, painting murals around campus, or cheering on Wisconsin sports... especially our Pirates!
