The Business Office is committed to providing financial accountability and accurate accounting for the resources of the district. Major responsibilities include budgeting and auditing, accounting, timely financial reporting, payroll, purchasing/accounts payable, food service, facilities and student transportation.
Our key goals revolve around development and administration of the annual budget. Through this process we acknowledge the tremendous financial support the community has shown for the district. Decisions made in this process support the school district’s mission, “Opening the door to each child’s future.”

SARAH VIERA
Sarah Viera serves as the Assistant Superintendent and Chief Financial Officer for the Pewaukee School District, joining the team in July 2026. Her career in school finance began in 2012, building on a foundation that included interning under former CFO John Gahan in Pewaukee in 2011.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Finance from UW-Whitewater and holds a Master’s Degree in School Business Management, also from UW-Whitewater.
Sarah is a proud parent of two children. When she isn't busy keeping up with their activities, she enjoys spending time outdoors, whether working in her garden or relaxing with family around a bonfire.
