Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Bartz

I have been teaching at the Pewaukee School District since the 2005-06 school year. I have taught a variety of math courses during that time.

I have always enjoyed math; however, I did not originally go to school to be a math teacher. My first intention was to major in chemistry with a forensic science emphasis. In the course of my first semester at Carroll University, I realized I had the ability to help explain topics to my classmates that helped them understand the concepts better. Therefore, I started to take a few education classes during my first winter term. I continued to major in chemistry as well as study mathematics. By the end of my sophomore year, I decided that I needed to add an education minor to my course load. Consequently, I graduated with certifications to teach both chemistry and math. My first job was teaching math and I was hooked.

When I am not teaching math, I enjoy spending time with my family. Yes, Mr. Bartz is my husband, no we don't spend all our free time doing math problems. We have two children, twins, boy and girl. I also love to participate in sports: volleyball, basketball, running; whatever the activity I try to be competitive.
