PROJECTS IN MOTION On April 2nd, 2024, the Pewaukee community voted to pass a $28.5 million referendum which will primarily impact Pewaukee High School. Here, we will post continuous updates regarding design decisions, construction updates, and a behind the scenes look at the new future facilities. LEARN ABOUT THE PROJECT DESIGN SKETCH: Document Document Document PROJECT TIMELINE UPDATES Referendum Project THE PROJECT: ONE TWO THREE MAINTENANCE CTE AND ART FITNESS Projects would include A roof replacement at Pewaukee Lake (life cycle ends 2024-25) and B Horizon Elementary (life cycle ends 2025-26). HVAC C would also need to be replaced at portions of Pewaukee High School as they are original to the building. Finally, by installing D solar panels, the district will be able ot reduce the future energy costs for building operations. Flooring will be replaced at Horizon Elementary as well. Additions and renovations would occur at Pewaukee High School (PHS) to update Career and Technical Education and Art learning spaces which have not been largely touched since PHS’s construction in 1968. This would include a STEAM Innovation Hub, metals, woods, art, graphic design, engineering, fashion, and culinary. Physical Education and fitness spaces would need to be relocated A to allow for the renovation of the Career and Technical Education and Art facilities. This includes shifting the current weight room, boys locker room, storage, and classroom/office spaces south. Parking would also then need to shift south, pushing the practice field to the east.
