  • How do you get into advanced courses?

    Posted by:

You will have many opportunities to be challenged at Asa Clark. Teachers regularly assess students on their proficiency on the standards, and when you demonstrate proficiency, you will be able to move on to the next set of standards, or will have opportunities to go even deeper into the content. During your 8th grade year, your teachers will look at assessment scores, class work, and your proficiency in the standards. Based on this information, they will make recommendations for classes for 9th grade based on whether you demonstrate readiness for advanced classes.
