Pewaukee School District

Opening the door to each child's future.

  • Coronavirus Communication

The Pewaukee School District values the health and well-being of our students, staff and families. We work throughout the year to promote healthy schools. Safety is always our priority.

Due to the health and wellness concerns in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic virus, the Pewaukee School District will be closed indefinitely until further notice. During this time we will focus on deep cleaning our facilities and we will closely monitor the progression of the virus. Throughout this period, we will continue to collaborate with area school districts, Waukesha County, and the health department to make the best decisions we can for our students and community.

Pewaukee School District is a public 4K-12 district offering an award-winning education to Village and City of Pewaukee students. We passionately commit to our mission to Open The Door To Each Child's Future.

Located in Waukesha County just west of Milwaukee, our district is chosen by residents and non-residents alike for the progressive, high-quality education we proudly deliver atop a scenic hill on a unique all-campus setting.

With all four schools - Pewaukee Lake Elementary, Horizon Elementary, Asa Clark Middle School and Pewaukee High School - operating on one campus, our opportunities for collaboration, community and efficiency are unparalleled.

    PHS Girls Basketball Fans-

We regret to inform you that we have just been notified by the WIAA that the Girls Basketball Tournament will be played with a limited amount of spectators at the games in the interest of public safety. This change is in accordance with the World Health Organization's recommendation for limiting large gatherings. Teams have been notified that each player will only be allowed four tickets per team member to accommodate immediate family members.

State T-Shirts and State Ticket Refunds

For those fans who bought a state t-shirt, pick up is still happening today at the high school. For those fans who bought a ticket, refunds will be available at the high school today until 3:30, tomorrow until noon, and next week during regular school hours (7:30-3:30) in the auditorium atrium. Refunds will be for the ticket price only ($10) and you must provide the ticket to receive your refund.

The team will still be playing their game as scheduled. Games will be televised on channel 49.1 over the air, 1007 (channel 7) on Cable, and streamed live via the WIAA website. Please join us in cheering on our Lady Pirates from a distance.

The Pewaukee School District is now utilizing the Waukesha Freeman as our official newspaper to notify the public of upcoming meetings, legal notices, agendas, minutes, etc.   We've previously used the Lake Country Now that is part of the Journal Sentinel and their newspaper production has been reduced to only one day a week.  The Waukesha Freeman will provide greater access to our notices.  In addition to the newspaper publications, notices are posted in each school building, the District Office and on the Board of Education web page located HERE
