PEWAUKEE HIRES SCANNELL AS NEW HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS GOLF COACH

PEWAUKEE, WI - Pewaukee High School is proud to announce it has hired Neil Scannell as its varsity girls golf coach.  

Scannell is a phy ed teacher at Horizon Elementary in the Pewaukee School District, a position he has held for 5 years.  He has accumulated 10 years of work in the golf industry, including serving as a high school golf coach at Arcadia High School in 2013.  Scannell also has experience working as a caddie at Erin Hills which allowed him to work in the 2011 US Ametuer tournament. Scannell grew up in Campbellsport, WI where he was a 3-year varsity letter winner on the boys golf team.

I am honored to have this opportunity to lead the girls golf program,” said Scannell.  “I am committed to helping this team compete at the highest level. Golf is a lifelong sport, and I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experiences with a dedicated group of student-athletes."

We are thrilled to welcome Neil as our head girls golf coach," said Athletic and Activities Director Jeff Behrens. "Neil has coached softball and middle school wrestling for our district.  He is an enthusiastic coach who is passionate about creating quality experiences for our kids. Those characteristics, along with his deep sense of dedication, and his ability to create strong relationships will make him a great fit to lead our girls golf program forward.”
