PEWAUKEE, WI - Pewaukee High School is proud to announce it has hired Sydeny Sprinkel as its varsity girls softball coach over the summer.

Sprinkel is entering her second year as a third grade teacher at Pewaukee Lake Elementary in the Pewaukee School District.  She has been around softball as a player and coach for the past 15 years. Last year, she had the opportunity to coach the JV softball team at Sussex Hamilton, where she attended as a student.  As a player and pitcher, she took her team at Sussex Hamilton to state in 2012. As a teacher in the Pewaukee School District, she is beyond excited to lead the softball program at PHS.

I am so excited and honored to be the new girls varsity softball coach.  Softball is an absolute passion of mine and it is my goal to have the girls jump on board with excitement and enthusiasm that will bring this team to the next level,” said Sprinkel.  “I am committed to helping this team push their limits and compete with audacity. I look forward to creating a strong team bond with these student athletes and sharing my knowledge and experiences with them."

We are thrilled to welcome Sydney as our head girls softball coach," said Athletic and Activities Director Jeff Behrens. "Sydney’s passion for the game is evident and her enthusiasm is contagious.  Sydney will be an energetic coach who is passionate about creating quality experiences for our girls. Her energetic style, knowledge of the game, and her ability to create strong relationships will make her a great fit to lead our girls softball program forward.”
