BREMBERGER NAMED NEW PHS AP

Lindsay Bremberger Named New Associate Principal at Pewaukee High School

Proud Pirate alumna and longtime instructional leader returns

home to serve the next generation of Pewaukee students.

Pewaukee, WI – The Pewaukee School District is pleased to announce Lindsay Bremberger as the new Associate Principal at Pewaukee High School. Bremberger replaces Jane Matter, who was recently named Principal at Asa Clark Middle School, and joins Principal Brian Sniff and Associate Principal Emily Hansen, in leading the high school.

Bremberger brings nearly 20 years of educational experience to Pewaukee High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, a Master of Science in Reading Education from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University. She also holds Wisconsin certifications as a Principal, Director of Instruction, Reading Specialist, and Reading Teacher. Most recently, Bremberger served for 12 years as a Teaching and Learning Coach at Lake Denoon Middle School in the Muskego-Norway School District, following seven years as an eighth-grade English Language Arts teacher in the Watertown Unified School District and one year teaching seventh-grade Science and English Language Arts in the St. Francis School District.

"I couldn't stop smiling when I received the call offering me this position," said Bremberger. "Returning to Pewaukee is incredibly meaningful because this community has shaped so much of who I am. When my husband and I were deciding where to raise our son, the answer was simple... we came home. We knew Pewaukee Schools would provide the opportunities, support, and sense of belonging that every child deserves. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions we've ever made. As a proud Pirate alumna, parent, and now Associate Principal, I am honored to give back to the community that has given so much to my family. One lesson that has stayed with me since high school came from my former teacher, Dr. Mike Cady: 'If not you, who? If not now, when?' Those words have guided me throughout my career, and I am excited to continue living them while serving the students, staff, and families of Pewaukee High School."

"We are excited to have Lindsay Bremberger joining us this upcoming school year with her extensive experience in instructional leadership and support for Professional Learning Communities," said Brian Sniff, Principal of Pewaukee High School. "It is great to have a new leader who is so deeply devoted to the Pewaukee school community as a parent, alumna, and now a member of our team."

Dr. Mike Cady, Superintendent of Pewaukee Schools, said, "Lindsay Bremberger comes to us with a 20-year track record of success in the classroom and as a leader in education, most recently as an Instructional Coach in the Muskego School District. She rose to the top of a very competitive pool of applicants to be selected as our next Associate Principal at Pewaukee High School. A lifelong Pirate (PHS Class of 2001) and a parent in our district, Ms. Bremberger brings a high level of personal commitment and history to her new role. She will be a great addition to the leadership team at PHS."

Outside of school, Bremberger enjoys spending time with her husband, Bryan. Their story began in Mrs. Witthun's third-grade classroom at Pewaukee Lake Elementary, and both later graduated from Pewaukee High School as members of the Class of 2001. Their son, Hudson (PHS Class of 2028), keeps the family busy with baseball after helping the Pirates capture the 2026 WIAA State Championship. Together, they enjoy traveling across the country, visiting family, exploring new places, and making memories - from road trips through Yellowstone and California to a family adventure in South Korea. Whether she's cheering from the ballfield or getting lost in a good book, Bremberger values relationships, service, and building the kind of community where everyone feels supported and inspired to grow.

Pewaukee School District is a public 4K-12 district offering an award-winning, future-ready education to over 3,000 students on a unique, single-campus setting. We are passionately committed to our mission to open the door to each child’s future.
