This title immediately brought to mind a time a few years ago when my son was in elementary school and we received a similar letter from the bus company. It was about a sudden change in the bus routes due to a staffing shortage. I remember the scramble to figure out how I was going to get him to school and back that week, as my work schedule was pretty rigid. I ended up having to ask my neighbor if she could possibly give him a ride on her way to work, which was a huge relief but also a bit of an imposition.
