Pewaukee School District Announces
Leadership Promotions
Adriana Plach and Miranda Kozlik assume
expanded leadership roles within District Administration.
Pewaukee, WI – The Pewaukee School District is pleased to announce the promotions of Adriana Plach to Director of Innovation & Continuous Improvement and Miranda Kozlik to Director of Communications & District Branding. Both leaders officially assume their new roles on July 1, 2026, continuing their long-standing commitment to serving the students, staff, and families of the Pewaukee School District.
Plach brings more than 20 years of experience within the district to her new leadership role. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Certificate in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a Master of Science in Educational Psychology/ School Counseling from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Her career began as a school counselor, serving one year at Forest Park Middle School before spending ten years at Asa Clark Middle School. She later served as the district's Academic & Career Coordinator before spending the past eight years as Continuous Improvement Coordinator, where she has led numerous districtwide initiatives supporting innovation, student success, and continuous improvement.
"For 20 years, this district has been my professional home, and this community has become family," said Plach. "Stepping into this new role is an honor, and I look forward to collaborating with our incredible team to elevate our practices and unlock new possibilities for our entire school community."
Miranda Kozlik, a proud graduate of Pewaukee High School's Class of 2014, has served as the district's Marketing & Communications Manager since graduating from Carroll University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Communications and a minor in Business Marketing. During her seven years with the district, she has led communications, branding, publications, referendums, and community engagement efforts while helping shape and strengthen the district's identity and reputation.
"I am incredibly honored to continue serving the district and community that helped shape who I am," said Kozlik. "This community has given me so much and it's a privilege to help tell its story. Pewaukee's identity is something I deeply value and I look forward to continuing to build a brand that reflects the excellence, pride, and opportunities that define our schools."
Dr. Mike Cady, Superintendent of Pewaukee Schools, said, "We are thrilled to promote Adriana Plach to the position of Director of Innovation & Continuous Improvement. Ms. Plach has risen through the ranks of Pewaukee, serving as a school counselor at Asa Clark Middle School, where she was recognized as a Kohl Excellence recipient, before moving into the role of Continuous Improvement Coordinator. She has provided tremendous leadership through the Insight program at Pewaukee High School while serving as a key leader in expanding mental health services for our students. Adriana has consistently demonstrated outstanding talent as a leader and systems thinker who will be a tremendous asset in this expanded leadership role.
