Mitigation Decision Guidance (MDG) Model: This model utilizes the 7-day average of new daily cases within Pewaukee School District boundaries to guide decisions to escalate or de-escalate mitigation measures. The district will look for a 3-day trend of the rate meeting, exceeding or falling below of the prescribed benchmark when considering a change in status. Other data including internal rates of infection and quarantine will also be considered before determining a course of action. Changes will typically be put in place for a minimum of 2-weeks before considering de-escalation, however rapid increases in cases may require more rapid changes higher levels of mitigation.
OVERALL OPERATIONS PLAN
Below is a link to the 2021-22 PSD Covid-19 Operational Plan presented as a follow up to the Board of Education approved plan from July. The plan below was approved by the Board of Education at their meeting held on August 24, 2021. This plan will be in place for the start of the 2021-22 school year. The Board will regularly review the status and performance of the plan as a standing item at all Board of Education regularly scheduled meetings.
